Annual General Meeting
Notice is hereby given of the Annual General Meeting of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (Mauritius Section) which will be held at 13 30 on Saturday 1st March 2025 at the BCS Regional Office, 14A, Ganachaud Lane, Castel.
The Agenda will be as follows:
- Reading and approval of the minutes for the last AGM and matters arising thereof.
- President’s report.
- Treasurer’s report and approval of statement of accounts.
- Proposal and approval of Budget for 2025.
- Election of 5 members to sit in the Managing Committee for the years 2025 - 2027.
- Nomination of an Auditor.
Notice of candidature to the Management Committee for the years 2025 to 2027 and any motion purported shall be given in writing or by email to the Secretary by noon on 19th February 2025 at latest.
Notice of withdrawal of candidature (if any) shall be remitted in writing or by email to the Secretary, by 24th February 2025, noon at latest.
Members who cannot attend the AGM can submit a duly filled Proxy form at latest by 19th February 2025, noon, at the registered address of the Section or via email to the secretary.
Should the quorum for the AGM be not met; the meeting will be postponed for the 15th of March 2025, same time, same venue.
Duly filled Candidature Application Form, Proxy form and Motions to be discussed in AOB must be enclosed in separate sealed envelopes with the heading (“Candidature”, “Proxy” or “Motions”) written on the top left corner, or sent through separate emails with corresponding subject lines and addressed to:
